Frequently asked questions

 What is a network?

A network is any group of people sharing ideas. It can be local, regional or national; formal or informal, clinical or administrative. Some networks meet in the real world, others collaborate through the internet or through newsletters.

Is NHS Networks anything to do with computers or information technology?

No, it's not that sort of 'networks'. The networks we deal with are professional networks of people. (Of course, some of these do deal with IT.)

I want to register on www.networks.nhs.uk but I don't have an NHS e-mail address.

This is no problem. Registration is open to anyone.
