"Effective boards depend on having the right information at the right time. That information needs to be focused on the right issues, pitched at the right level of detail and presented clearly. This report seeks both to provoke debate and offer practical proposals. What we seek to offer is not a prescription, but a starting point for discussion and development."From Sir William Wells' Foreword
