Database of Good Ideas

In November 2005, NHS Networks, on behalf of the Department of Health, asked PCTs to submit case studies of good practice matching one or more of four criteria identified during the Your Health, Your Care, Your Say consultation. These have now been compiled into a searchable database.

Can Do and Fast Forward

In 2004, the NHS Alliance and NatPaCT asked their various networks for GPs, nurses, allied and other primary care professionals and PCT leaders for examples of how good working relationships between PCTs and their clinicians are transforming health services for patients and the public.

The result was Can Do! - a catalogue of success from over 100 Primary Care Trusts.

The NHS Alliance, working with NatPaCT, followed this in 2005 with a second publication in the series - Fast Forward.  Fast Forward has almost 200 examples of good practice in key areas of work.
